I finished up sewing a couple of things together. Above is from the pattern Holly, Ivy and Steve, by Danger Craft. It is meant to be a small toy and it is originally done in a red with a scarf. Then they sit on your Christmas Tree. I used a white yarn I had left from some snowmen. It is a Mari Maxim yarn with some sparkle. It is a very soft yarn and I wanted to use it up, this small project did not use it all up, but is a cute little guy.
Below, Is a Chubby Chirp, a free pattern at Danger Craft Mine doesn't look like the picture, I am thinking I have done something wrong. I am going to try another out of a solid yarn. This little guy came about because I had some left over yarn from a skein that I had already used on two other projects and had some left. I really didn't want to throw it back into my stash. I wanted to use it up. Someone on the Danger Craft Ravelry group suggested the Chubby Chirp. I did it and have still a nice size ball left. What a great value to have gotten so much from one skein. I will see what else I can get from it.
