Results of 2 recipes on Pinterest
My Mr. Kitty is not a fat cat, but the way he laid on my chair he looks huge! I just had to share.
Today is much cooler this week and I felt the urge to try out some of the recipes I have pinned on my Pinterest. The first one is Marshmallow Carmel corn. Here is a picture of mine and the picture on Pinterest is below that.
It makes a perfect size batch. Everyone can have some and there is not a bunch left over. It is very easy and quick. Check out the recipe over on my board on Pinterest titled "Recipes I have tried and what I think of them". I did use 15 marshmallows instead of 10 and when melting the marshmallows in the microwave I did 25 seconds and stirred and then did 25 seconds again and that seemed to be the magic amount of time for me. Very good! I might try adding a touch of vanilla. It is worth your time and effort.
This is a healthier Banana Bread.
Another great recipe. You use honey and applesauce instead of oil and sugar. You also use whole wheat flour instead of white. First off it baked evenly. For some reason my ordinary banana bread seams to have to bake longer than an hour and then the outside is darker than I prefer. This calls for an hour, but I did 50 minutes and it came out great. It has a great flavor. The wheat flour is a strong taste. I think I would try like a half a cup to 1 cup of white flour instead of 2 cups of whole wheat. Try it the way the recipe says and see how you like it. It is very good. Mine did not puff up as much as the picture that came with the recipe. Picture from recipe below.

What has been up?
Mr. Kitty found a new favorite spot. I watched him yesterday when he crawled up on this couch and he goes and sniffs my baby (reborn doll) then goes and lays down. He is my little watch dog. The postal lady was putting packages in our garage at the steps and we had the door open so it was just the screen door there and she said the cat put his feet up so he was looking out the door, like to see what the sound was and he took one look at her and this hissing was on. I think it is funny because he is such a different cat.
Yesterday, I was on a tour of my daughters new college and it was amazing. I want to go. There is so many courses I would love to take, but since it is not near my home it wont happen, but my daughter can learn some amazing things of all kinds of art. How exciting!

Mr. Kitty is still Having Friends over
Mr. Kitty is still having his friends over. These are new Coonies. His old Coon friends are still stopping by and now he has more. This is getting a little out of hand.

What is Mr. Kitty up To?
Mr. Kitty has felt the colder weather move in and his children are back to school, so he has alot of napping to catch up on. He found his way under this comforter on Mattie's bed. He very much enjoyed it not only for the warmth, but so he could fur it up for her. He believes everyone would like him to put his soft fur on our stuff so we can feel closer to him and make it softer. He is just so good to us.

Mr. Kitty is watching his Friends
Mr. Kitty has a little red squirl. Boy does Mr. Kitty love spring and begining of summer. He loves to pounce on the screen and watch his little friends run. He feels like he has power when they run. He looks to his humans to pat him on the head and tell him he is a good boy each time they run.
Check out those cheeks. You can't stuff enough in.
Later in in summer Mr. Kitty's little friends get used to him pouncing on the screen and then they don't run no more. Mr. Kitty gets upset to the point when he finally doesn't pounce them anymore. He will go to the screen and look out the backyard and act like he can't see any of his friends right under his nose.
He is so funny, you just got to love him.

Silly Mr. Kitty
We had went shopping and came home. After taking out purchases out of the bags we left this one on the floor. Mr. Kitty just loves the plastic bags. He usually crawls on top of them and sprawls out. Well this time he crawled inside. When he does these silly things, he will stay inside til someone notices him. I went up to him and said "You are not hiding. I can see you Mr. Kitty" He just looked back at me. He is so silly.

Mr Kitty loves his new window feeder. He had a different one, then this one. This one actually is big enough for the birdies to hop inside and he watches them eat. The first day he had his new feeder, he wouldn't even go for his daily nap. He acted like a kid at Christmas.
He is such a fun Mr. Kitty.

Mr. Kitty is playing peek a boo.
He likes to get up on this tiny cupboard space and peek around the corner into the living room. When someone spots him and plays back, he is all the more happy.
Sorry for the Long Break
Hello Everyone,
I am sorry I have been away so long. I have all kinds of things I have been working on. I have been doing my sewing, that is and has been most of my life such a passion. I also have been making more and more cards with my Cricut Expression. I have my support from Mr. Kitty in everything. He is such a fun and different kitty. So to start you out with, I want to show you what he is up to right now.
He is sleeping in the chair in my sewing/craft room. He is keeping an eye on me. If I get up to leave he mews at me. I think he is saying "Where are you going?" If I say "I'll be right back" he is okay and stays. If I don't then he carries on, like he is telling me off. For some reason he feels if I am going to go somewhere else in the house and park, then he needs to be there to watch me. After all he is my watcher.

Wow I have all Kinds of things to share....

I have had this picture for a while, but I just have to share with all of you. Mr. Kitty gets his picture taken all the time from my girls and then I do my share also. I guess when he came around the corner and seen the camera again, this reminded me of him sticking his tongue out to the camera. He was probably thinking I am not sitting here for more pictures.

It has happened!
Mr. Kitty has now tried every piece of new furniture. This is the last piece and he has ruled all is comfy.

A Nice Day for Mr. Kitty to Enjoy

Mr. Kitty Found something New
Mr. Kitty Discovered Fish Oil Pills. We originally purchased some for a skin condition that my dogs had. Kitty got the scent when the top is open. Now when the cupboard is opened he goes right for the bottle. So we set them on the floor to see what he would do. I think the look on his face says it all.
Mr. Kitty has had some Little Friends Drop By
Mr. Kitty has had some friends drop by. First was a little birdie.
Then his little Gopher friend stopped by. Gopher doesn't run away when Mr. Kitty pounces the screen, because he has gotten used to it. He also knows that cat can't get him and he has a big plate of seed. Gopher has been seen chasing other gophers away. He doesn't want to share his feast. Kitty is an indoor cat thinking the grass is greener on the other side.
