Audio Book Monday
Tempted
by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast
This is the 6th book in this series. I was very much into the series in the beginning. I feel like the main charachter, Zoe is lusting after every guy that is cute, to the point of rediculousness. She is constantly committing to one and then in the next momment chasing, kissing or having sex with another. I realize that it is explained that it can't be helped with one guy she has printed on, but come on! She has 3 she strings along and then adds more as she goes. Now from what I am saying you couldn't tell that there is a story going on at a vampire school and this girl is a type of priestest. There are battles and some mysterious things going on, this part is very interesting. There are other people who are have great story lines.
This is written for young adults and even my teenage daughter and one other teenager has gotten tired of this series for different reasons, they have stopped the books sooner than I have, but now I am right there with them. It started out really good and I couldn't wait for the next book. Wondering if the main charachter was going to make it through each challenage. Now I am tired of the girl being so weak. I stopped listening before this last book was even done. There is so much more that could be a main story line in the plot, then Zoe's sex life. For me I wont be getting anymore of this series. I know this sounds odd after last weeks book review and it was by one of these authors and I fully recommended it. It is the first of a series maybe she will end up like this. I don't know, but I like the main girl to have a little back bone, not a flighty airhead that has only sex on the brain, when bigger things are going on.
I realize that some do like this type of book, but I can't recommend it.

I'm not sure that vampires are supposed to have the same kind of morals we do, maybe they have sex like we have chocolate chip cookies. After having one, we can't wait for the next.
